The Allard Pierson Museum is part of the archaeological museum of the University
of Amsterdam. The museum gives a thoroughly understanding of the complex history of great civilizations, mainly Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. The archaeological collection displays artifacts and other art-objects dating from 4000 B.C. till 500 A.D. and several scale models of ancient temples and buildings.

Tues to Fri 10.00 - 17.00 hrs.
Sat and Sun 13.00 - 17.00 hrs.
Closed on Mondays and on some holidays.
