The Tropical Museum offers the public a journey in time through the different cultures of tropical areas around the world. The building dates back to 1926, designed with a combination of Dutch architectural styles. 
Part of the museum focuses on the history of the Dutch colonial times. Permanent exhibitions visualize the daily life for people in Asia, South America and Arabic countries. On the other hand temporary exhibitions focus mainly modern and traditional visual  arts and photographic work.

Every day from 10a.m. till 5p.m.
On 5, 24 31 Dec from 10a.m. till 3p.m.
Closed on Jan 1st, Apr 30th, May 5th and Dec 25th
