Clubcockring (Rozenstraat) is a popular gay club and has been voted Amsterdam's best gay disco on more than one occasion. The music is generally techno and during the weekends live shows are hosted. Fridays are mixed gays/lesbians, Saturday is for women only! Open Mon-Sun 11pm-4am (5am weekend), admission free.

Exit (Reguliersdwarsstraat 42) is a spacious modern gay club with three levels and a huge dance floor. Dark room on the top floor. Music is trendy and up to date. The interior is very modern. The club is open on weekends from 11pm to 5am, admission free. |

De Trut (Bilderdijkstraat 165) is an underground gay and lesbian club. Drinks and entrance costs are very cheap! De Trut is only open on Sunday from 11pm-4am. |

The Amstel Taveerne (Amstel 54) is the oldest gay bar in the Amstel area. The crowd is generally a mixed one partying and singing on Dutch typical music. Karaoke activities are organized on weekly basis. Happy hour is held from Mon –Thurs, 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
