For four days in a row, Maastricht becomes the capital of jazz in The Netherlands. Jazz Maastricht is a meeting of world top artists and innovating talent from the Euro-region. Apart form jazz music, the festival offers a mixture of  music styles including pop, world, classic and opera and, artistic disciplines such as theatre, dance, poetry, film,  and fashion.
The annual Jazz Festival in Maastricht takes place in October and attracts large numbers of jazz enthusiasts and music lovers to the city.
