Preuvenemint (August). Preuvenemint is a major culinary event in Maastricht. This 4 day event is held yearly in the last full weekend of August on the Vrijthof. The square will be covered with stands specializing in food and wines. Besides, one can enjoy live music while walking around and tasting all kind of delicacies available. During this special event, the Vrijthof is transformed into one big restaurant offering all kind of tastes and drinks one can imagine!
