Places to see in Maastricht - Bonnefanten Museum

Bonnefanten Museum - This shuttle like building offers a unique mixture of exhibitions including art, history and archeology. The building was designed by the famous Italian architect Aldo Rossi. The art exhibition displays paintings of old masters such as Rubens, Jordaens and Van Dyck as well as contemporary art exhibits by Lily van der Stokker, René Daniëls, Roman Signer and Joëlle Tuerlinckx. Visitors can also admire ancient archeological relics dating back as far as 250,000 B.C.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
Admission price for adults costs € 7,50.
