Fort St. Peter - This fort was constructed in 1701-1702. It lies on the northern part of Mount St. Peter. This fort is based on a pentagonal base and has two major galleries at its centre and a circumferential gallery round its five sides. Here one can see the galleries, the shell proof chambers, look down into the depths of the water-well and climb up to see a breathtaking view of maastricht and its surroundings.
