The Dappermarkt is the cheapest market in Amsterdam. The market is very local and reflects the life of newcomers from around the world, predominantly Suriname, Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. There are about 250 stands selling all kind of stuff, most of it for just €1. It’s also the place to be for buying low cost fruits and food products.
